For those not in the know, Martin Bonventre, a true old-school showman with a baritone voice, smooth moves, and a big, open-hearted personality, and who has a love of dance, rhythm and storytelling, pivots from his musical theater world here on this brand new debut EP Swingin’ in a New Dimension, out January 23rd 2026 via Splendido Productions).

As the title of the recording describes, Bonventre is putting his distinctive swinging jazz touch on eight of his favorite songs culled from film and Broadway theater classics and pop.

Joined by a stellar New York City quintet, and with musical arrangements and production by his esteemed voice teacher, Jackie Presti, Bonventre breaks new ground with his bold baritone and his love of dance energizing this electric cache of songs.
