For those unaware, Europe’s new studio album, Come This Madness, marks another chapter in the enduring legacy of one of rock’s most celebrated bands as they channel tension, truth, and raw energy into a record that feels both deeply personal and globally resonant.

“With this album, I think we’ve looked around at what’s happening in the world and tried to describe some of it through the songs. But at the end of the day, it’s still entertainment, it’s still music, and most importantly, it’s still about having fun!” concludes Joey Tempest.

Building on the momentum surrounding the album’s release, Europe will also embark on an extensive tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Final Countdown. Kicking off in Glasgow on September 30th, The Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour will unite the legacy that defined the band with the renewed energy driving them forward today.

The incredible demand for the tour is already evident, with numerous dates sold out and only a very limited number of tickets remaining for several other shows: a testament to the enduring popularity of Europe and the excitement surrounding this milestone anniversary.

This solid, amazingly confident new album opens on the pop power rocker One on One and the free-flowing The Cult of Ignorance and then we get brought forth the all-embracing rockin’ rhythms that drive the titular Come This Madness, the beautiful balladry of This Time of Year and the strident fare of In a Different World.

Along next is the veritably soaring, Celtic-hued Scandinavian Eyes and the pop-tastic Takin’ It Back and they are in turn backed by the low key, orchestrally-imbibed ballad In the Absence of Grace, the anthemic The Angels Must Have Flown, the album rounding out on the melodious pop-rock bounce of The Devil’s Back, coming to a close on the forthright Nothing Can Follow This.
