Title - 'ICON' (Ume)
Artist - Lionel Ritchie

ICON is a brand new hits collection from legendary R&B/pop singer, Lionel Ritchie. In truth, being that he is off doing his country act these days, I'm not too sure how much knowledge he has of this "new" CD. But, that said, it does contain some of his best work to date - so it's not all bad!

The 11 track ICON CD includes the mega chart-topping around the world hit 'Hello,' his smooth funk of 'All Night Long,' 'Say You, Say Me,' the soaring 'You Are,' and even his under-rated party anthem 'Dancing on the Ceiling'.

Sure there have been better releases of his work - check out Lionel's first comprehensive collection of his solo and his work with the Commodores hits + plus two new tracks; including 'To Love a Woman' with Enrique Iglesias on The Definitive Collection - but if you've never purchased any Lionel Richie CD in your life, well, this is the best to start with (given its lower price and all). This is, simply put, the music you can listen to all your life, young or old, and never tire of.
