'My Little Pony - Friendship Is Magic'
(Tara Strong, Ashleigh Ball, Tabitha St. Germain, Andrea Libman, et al / DVD / R / 2012 / Shout! Factory)

Overview: When it’s announced that Twilight Sparkle’s older brother, Shining Armor, is set to marry Princess Celestia’s niece, Cadance, all the ponies in Equestria should be celebrating. But there’s one pony in Ponyville who’s not so thrilled with the news: Twilight Sparkle! Why is the young unicorn so concerned? And will the royal wedding go off without a hitch?

DVD Verdict: I have to say that 'My Little Pony - Frienship Is Magic: The Royal Pony Wedding' is a clever, cute, fun, and just plain delightful animated movie for your kids. Sure it comes with other episodes, and sure they are not all as excellently put together (even scripted), but overall this DVD has some good episodes.

In the main one, 'A Canterlot Wedding, Part 1 and 2,' the delightful ponies go to Canterlot to attend the royal wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. But the wedding seems on the rocks when the bride-to-be reveals a dark secret. In another one, 'The Best Night Ever,' the ponies go to The Grand Galloping Gala in hopes of fulfilling their hopes and dreams. But it's not how they expected!

In closing, 'My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic: Royal Pony Wedding' is the best investment you'll ever make. It also includes all the following episodes: A Canterlot Wedding Part 1, A Canterlot Wedding Part 2, Hearts and hooves Day, Sweet and Elite and The Best Night Ever. This is a Widescreen Presentation 1.85:1 enhanced for 16x9 TVs.
