'Chick Magnet'
(Jeff Venables, Josh Beren, et al / DVD / R / 2011 / Peace Arch Trinity)

Overview: Jeff Venables, Meili Cady, and Josh Beren star in this comedy about a magical shirt that guarantees sex with any woman!

DVD Verdict: The premise of the movie is that Phil (Venables) and Jen (Cady) are getting divorced. Phil moves out, but when Phil and his friends run into a stranger with a shirt with the power for any man to get any woman he wants they think they have it made!

[CLEARS THROAT] ... Phil decides to try and use it on his wife!

Anyway, and not to give too much away, this movie is pretty much exactly what you would expect from the preview. A little bit of a plot and a lot of sex. 'Chick Magnet' has the three main characters in any good movie uch as this: The sensitive guy, the fat dumb guy, and the cocky guy.

This is nowhere near the quality of the "American Pie" movies and is barely watchable at times, sorry! Ten minutes in you can predict the ending, but (in truth) all this really means nothing.

When you watch a movie like this you watch it for one thing. And that's what you get in OVERabundance, trust me! As is told in the movie, "Be warned, you cannot possibly understand the toll this gift exacts on the body. Yes, but more gravely on the mind, on the soul." Sums it up from all angles! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs.
