'Doc Mcstuffins: Mobile Clinic'
(Various / DVD / NR / 2014 / Walt Disney Jr.)

Overview:Now, if you can't come to Doc, she can come to you! When your toys are hurt or sick, the "Doc Mobile" will get there quick with everything needed - including on-site cuddles - to fix them good as new.

DVD Verdict: Unlike many kids shows these days, the loveable 'Doc McStuffins' is one of those that highlights a really precise, easy to understand logic to everyday things. Each and every episode of this wonderful show allow their central storytelling acorn to blossom in such a way that it's outcome is the only - to kids - logical one that they themselves would have come up with also.

Ergo, 'Doc McStuffins' deals with so many of these everyday instances, all complete with inner messages that seem less than subtle to any watching adults; and yet highly obvious to all the kids glued to the small screen!

In the show Doc has a loving, supportive family and wants to be a doctor like her mother. This new collection of episodes (from seasons one and two) contains five shows that in themselves contain two 22 minute stories (are you still with me here?): 'Out of the Box / Run Down Race Car,' 'Rescue Ronda, Ready for Takeoff / All Washed Up,' 'Rest Your Rotors, Ronda! / Keep on Truckin,' 'Doc McStuffins Goes McMobile / Chip Off the Ol' Box,' and 'Doc to the Rescue / Don't Knock the Noggin.'

Also, and luckily for all those kids out there that love this show, it has already been renewed for a third season. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Bonus Features of a Sing-Along.
