Overview: 'The Formula' is the story of Quinn (Baker) and Graham (played by Iowa Native Mike Schminke), two engineering students who discover a mathematical formula to pick up women with ease!

DVD Verdict: 'The Formula' shows us very quickly that Quinn is a hopeless romantic who falls head over heels for a young student teacher. Been there, done that ... er, come now, haven't we all?!

OK, moving swiftly onwards and then we are shown that Graham is a chauvinistic womanizer who thinks the key to finding the woman of his dreams is by wooing as many as possible! Been there, done th ... No, just me! OK then!

As we follow the movie along its staple guidelines for this genre, we watch as both Quinn and Graham bounce from one date to the next. Until, that is, they discover that there is no shortcut to finding true love.
