'Robot Chicken - Season 7'
(Various / DVD / NR / 2015 / Cartoon Network)

Overview: Adult Swim’s Emmy® Award-winning stop-motion animated series Robot Chicken returns on DVD with 20 all-new episodes from Season 7, including the now famous “Bitch Pudding Special”

DVD Verdict: Those who know, simply put, know that 'Robot Chicken' is not for all tastes. Definitely not for children, well, young-young kids, it is a humor that you either roll with or you pass on minutes after putting it on. That said, this member of the stop-motion Adult Swim satire series has enjoyed huge success through the years. Packed with hours of bonus content, 'Robot Chicken - Season 7' includes 20 commentaries from show creators and cast, deleted animatics, outtakes, interviews, behind the scenes, and more.

Want more information? Well, completely random and fast-paced stop-motion animation is all what 'Robot Chicken' is about. With every episode being the Adult Swim traditional 11 minutes, each is packed full of hilarious parodies and shorts. And the best thing is you never know who you'll see the next episode.

'Robot Chicken' takes the media and entertainment business and flips it upside down. If you've got your know on pop culture, 'Robot Chicken' will be all the more hilarious for you. And if you don't understand all the references, 'Robot Chicken' is also packaged with the crude, witty humor that most of Adult Swim features. I'm not bashing on that kind of humor, I love it too.

Basically it's got something for everyone. And there are no main characters or storyline, it's a new parody every episode. And the animation is pretty darn good for stop-motion. But alas, it is not perfect. The problem I have with 'Robot Chicken' is the relentless fart/bathroom jokes. I swear, in every episode there is a short cut-scene of someone farting or something of the like. I really can't stand that, and I bet you anything that's simply Seth Green shining through! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.77:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

• Audio Commentaries for All 20 Episodes
• A Bonus Christmas Special with Commentary
• Featurettes
• Cut Sketches
