'Bottoms Up - Rise of the Backside'
(DVD / NR / 2015 / Cinedigm)

Overview: On the surface, 'Bottoms Up' is a documentary film that examines the newest booming trend in aesthetic surgery big backsides. The film explores the media's impact and other societal pressures that have propelled derrieres from a cult fetish to a mainstream phenomenon. But watch further and more gets revealed along the way ... much more!

DVD Verdict: With an influx of new it girls from Kim Kardashian to Nicki Minaj, the images are inescapable. In 2013, the number of butt augmentations increased by 58%. So who is to blame the media? Men? Women? 'Bottoms Up' offers different perspectives on this new issue. With commentary from plastic surgeons, women who seek the surgery, and men who admire the results, the film takes a look at the issue from every angle.

Starring Luther Campbell (a.k.a. Luke Skyywalker, Uncle Luke), he is much more than just the sex-obsessed mastermind behind 2 Live Crew's controversial 1989 hit 'Me So Horny.' Now 47 and just recently married for the very first time, he runs Luke Entertainment Group, a publicly traded company that specializes in racy videos and party-planning services!

'Bottoms Up' doesn't just point the finger at women and the media, as men have played an equally important role. So, who is to blame - the media? The documentary offers perspectives on this thought process in a brand new, fresh style. Jam-packed with commentary from plastic surgeons, women who desperately long for larger ones, and men who want a little more than a handful, the film takes a look at booties from every angle! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and it comes with the Special Features of Extended Interviews and Deleted Scenes.
