'Wild Kratts: Wild Animal Babies'
(Martin Kratt, Chris Kratt / DVD / NR / 2016 / PBS Kids!)

Overview: What's better than meeting amazing animals with the Wild Kratts? Meeting amazing BABY animals with the Wild Kratts, of course!!

DVD Verdict: For those not in the know, Chris and Martin Kratt are brothers (in real life!) who explore the wild throughout the world to learn more about animals and share conservation information. They have three friends who travel in the Tortuga HQ with them named Aviva, Koki and Jimmy Z.

The brothers have creature power suits that allow them to experience what it's like to be the animals they find. The team helps them by creating power suit creature disks for each animal they study. They also bring them supplies and help them out of tricky situations when their adventures get dicey. The four episodes contained here are: 'Elephant in the Room,' 'Bad Hair Day,' 'Zig-Zagged,' and 'Let the Rhinos Roll!'

Their new DVD, 'Wild Kratts: Wild Animal Babies' allows us to explore nature, discover amazing animals, and, of course, meet wild animal babies with the Wild Kratts! We join Martin Kratt and Chris Kratt as they learn about the unique ways young animals are raised and protected by their parents. In select adventures on this DVD, the crew helps an adorable (and majorly destructive) baby elephant stay out of trouble, wrangles some playful lion cubs, and more! It's adventure at its most adorable!

In short, 'Wild Kratts' is a great cartoon adventure show for kids where they can learn about new animals and why conservation is so important to the world, not just them. Also, we get to learn fun facts, straight from the box cover art work, in this case: Q) How much does a newborn elephant weigh? A) A newborn elephant weighs around 200 pounds! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.78:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs.
