'Fall Out Boy - The Boys of Zummer Tour 2015'
(Fall Out Boy / Blu-ray / NR / 2016 / Eagle Vision)

Overview: Join multi-platinum band Fall Out Boy as they travel back to their hometown of Chicago for a mind-blowing audio-visual extravaganza. Featuring their newest hits "Centuries", "Irresistible", and "Uma Thurman", this 17 song concert also includes the band's best loved songs from across their whole career.

Blu-ray Verdict: For those not in the know, Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. The band originated from Chicago's hardcore punk scene, with which all members were involved at one point.Indeed, the group was formed by Wentz and Trohman as a pop punk side project of the members' respective hardcore bands, and Stump joined shortly thereafter.

This special performance 'The Boys of Zummer Tour 2015 - Live In Chicago' is one of the most memorable Fall Out Boy concerts ever, filmed during their tour that hit 39 North American cities throughout 2015. Great musicianship, powerful songs and stunning visuals all make for an exceptional concert experience here, of that have no doubt, and it showcases perfectly just what a great, hardworking band FOB really are.

FOB are masterful when it comes to commanding a stage and here on this live date they perform each song as if their lives depended on it. Opening with their nostalgic throwback hit “Sugar We’re Going Down,” Patrick Stump keeps the crowd dazzled with his soulful voice, while FOB play energetic, hard rocking tunes off their most recent release, along with a bounty of hit singles toboot.

Culling from their uber successful American Beauty/American Psycho, a lovable album with an evolved, electronic, and generally radio friendly sound, between new songs such as “Uma Thurman” and “Irresistible,” FOB’s diverse 17-song set list is also chock full of cuts from their expansive discography.

After heading into "Irresistible", "The Phoenix", the brilliant "A Little Less Sixteen Candles" and both "Thriller" and "Alone Together", FOB light the fuse laying in wait under the packed audience with the firebrand "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race". "Immortals" bleeds right into their frenetic hit “Dance, Dance”, before "American Beauty/American Psycho" and new track "Uma Thurman" ate brought to the fore.

The pulsating "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" is next, which is followed by "I Don't Care", new track "Centuries", before returning to the stage for a two song encore. Bringing the entire show to a close with the stunningly full on, empowered, always-fantastic-to-hear "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light ‘Em Up)” and then “Saturday", FOB's 'The Boys of Zummer Tour 2015' was as exhausting to watch on Blu-ray as it was most likely to have been there - and that's saying something! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs, and comes with the Bonus Feature of three (3) new Music Videos: "Centuries", "Uma Thurman" and "Irresistible".
