'Gamechangers: Dreams Of Blizzcon: SE'
(Blu-ray / NR / 2018 / Film Rise - MVD Visual)

Overview: 'Gamechangers: Dreams Of Blizzcon - Special Ediiton' enters the unexplored realm of professional '"eSports", as told through the eyes of two of the world's best StarCraft II players.

Blu-ray Verdict: Telling a riveting story of the life and dreams of hardcore gamers, trust me when I say that you don't need to know anything about Starcraft, how its constructed, or even how it played to be drawn into this extraordinary human story.

In 1998 a single video game forever changed the world. The game was StarCraft. It would go on to become the foundation of eSports (electronic sports) and the force behind the online streaming medium Twitch.

This global phenomenon began in the modest South Korean internet cafés known as PC bangs. It was from these humble beginnings that our characters "MC" and "MMA" would begin their dreams.

Dreams that eventually lifted them out of poverty and placed them on the world stage as champions. But a life in eSports comes at a cost and as we follow these players throughout a year of their lives we find out just what it takes to compete at the highest level and achieve ones Dreams of Blizzcon.

For Seong Won's dad wanted him to be a Priest, his country wanted him to be a soldier, and yet all he wants to do is go to Blizzcon and be a champion one last time!

Compelling from start to finish, we get to hear about their life experiences and how they have shaped themselves into the well known players they are today.

It is absolutely enthralling watching them discuss the difficulties of keeping up with the younger players and the personal challenges they face in their own lives. Highly recommended. This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:
