'Arthur Celebrates Community'
(Jane Lynch, Roman Lutterotti, Bruce Dinsmore, Evan Blaylock, et al / DVD / G / 2019 / PBS Kids)

Overview: In 'Arthur Celebrates Community' we all learn about the people, places, and things that make a community special, and learn what it takes to keep a community strong!

DVD Verdict: If you were not aware, 'Arthur' is a show that gives off such a great message of friendship. Even though all the characters are so lovable, they each have their own unique flaws.

Like how Arthur complains about D.W all the time or like when Muffy gets her snobby attitudes. Also when Francine gets competitive, and the brain brags about his IQ!

Ergo, 'Arthur' represents life's imperfections and how to deal with them for Arthur and his friends have so much fun together because, and solely because they except each other for who they are.

Which I think is definitely a message kids should learn early in their lives and what makes 'Arthur Celebrates Community' one of the best DVD releases of 2019 thus far!

What is a community? Well, here in 'Arthur Celebrates Community' he, along with his friends (and us as we follow along, of course) all learn about the people, places, and things that make a community special and strong.

We watch along as Francine rallies the troops around a petition to help Lakewood Elementary protect the environment, as the Lakewood Elementary students share their school with their Mighty Mountain rivals.

Oh, and lest we forget that Arthur and his classmates also attend Mr. Ratburn's wedding, amongst others! Wow, hardly expected and yet what a wondrous day was had by all.

These eight (8) fun-filled episodes are filled with tales of honesty, open-mindedness, compromise, and compassion and are just perfect (and safe) for your young ones to engross themselves within.

This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.78:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the eight (8) of: Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone, The Feud, When Rivals Came to Roost, The Longest Eleven Minutes, Muffy's House Guests, Binky Can't Always Get What He Wants, Muffy's Car Campaign and Truth or Poll.
