'One In The Chamber' [Combo Pack)
(Dolph Lundgren, Cuba Jr. Gooding, Louis Mandylor, et al / Blu ray+DVD / NR / 2012 / Anchor Bay Entertainment)

Overview: When Killers Collide, Every Bullet Counts: A seasoned assassin plays both sides in a Russian gang war and becomes the target of an unknown enemy.

Blu ray+DVD Verdict: The crux of the story is that Ray Carver (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is the best assassin money can buy. And so after being hired by both sides in a Russian gang war he sets out to be the worst he can be! But when he refuses to shoot a woman he himself then becomes a marked man. Aleksey Andreev (the always great Dolph Lundgren) is sent to take care of Ray before things go further.

Now, as much as I just said Dolph is always great, which for my money he is, this movie is not exactly, well, great! It's not exactly good either, in truth. It won't totally disappoint you, that's for sure, but the man let down is that which relates to Cuba. After winning the Oscar he immediately lowered his movie-choosing standards. In truth, Dolph's were never that high to start with so he escapes that media wrath!

So, come the end of the day, this is a B-movie, with lots of shoot-em-up action moments and a great amount of rage - which should pacify most all that go into this movie only wanting that! This is a Widescreen Presentation (1.85:1) enhanced for 16x9 TVs and comes with the Special Features of:

Audio Commentary with director Will Kaufman.
