Love Many, Trust Few was produced by Def Leppard vocalist Joe Elliott, Warwick's longtime friend and touring mate (Ricky opened for Def Leppard several times). Elliott makes a guest appearance on Love Many, Trust Few as does his Def Leppard bandmate, guitarist Vivian Campbell.

Ricky has always enjoyed collaborating with other songwriters. For the new album, Warwick co-wrote songs with Kieran Goss, Sharon Vaughn (Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, Oak Ridge Boys), Rob Crosby (Martina McBride) and Del James (Guns 'N Roses).
