Win the 'HONEYDRIPPER ' Soundtrack CD ... NOW!
Set in and around a 1950s juke joint in the Deep South, writer/director John Sayles's movie 'HONEYDRIPPER' follows a talented young singer/guitarist (played by Gary Clark Jr.) as he struggles to find an audience.
In addition to rollicking tunes performed by Clark Jr. (most notably the standard "Good Rockin' Tonight"), the album includes vintage songs by Hank Williams (the twangy "Move It On Over") and Memphis Slim (the bluesy "Bertha May"), as well as tracks by more contemporary artists such as Keb' Mo' (the spare traditional number "Stack O Lee").
With its mix of rock & roll, country, blues, and gospel, 'HONEYDRIPPER' is an exceptional soundtrack that will appeal to a wide variety of music aficionados.
