Israel's most famous international singer NOA delivers a beautiful album with Genes and Jeans - in stores May 13th on Decca. In support of this release, the songstress will embark on a seven city U.S. tour beginning May 5th in Miami, FL at the Carnival Center and wrapping up May 15th at the Skirball Performing Arts Center in New York City.

The CD was recorded with Dor in Noa's home studio in Shefayim, just north of Tel Aviv in 18 months. Stand-out tracks include the dark and jazzy "Dala Dala" featuring a recording of Noa's grandmother (Rachel Nini) singing a capella to open the song; "Heart and Head" a daasa with a melody borrowed from a folk song including a sample from the late Shlomo Dachyani; the dreamy "The Eyes of Love" dedicated to her father and the title track "Genes and Jeans" that combines a Yemenite folk song and a new melody by Noa and Dor.
