The suspense-drama series that brought the serial horror genre back to television makes a frightening return when 'Friday The 13th – The Series: The First Season' arrives on DVD for the first time ever on September 23, 2008 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment.

The series, produced by Paramount Domestic Television, originally debuted in first-run syndication in September 1987. The collectable six-disc set includes all 26 eerie episodes from the fan-favorite show’s first season.

Featuring intense psychological terror and bone-chilling suspense, Friday The 13th – The Series centers on two distant cousins who inherit their late uncle’s antique shop when his soul was taken by the Devil after he failed to hold up his end of a deadly agreement.

Joined by an eccentric antiques dealer, the team must race against time and fate to retrieve each diabolically cursed item sold from the hexed store before it unleashes its deadly force.
