Win 'Portrait of Petula Clark' on DVD!
The hit sounds of ’60s singing sensation Petula Clark headline 'Portrait of Petula Clark,' crooning onto DVD March 17 from Infinity Home Entertainment.
This colorful look back at the pop music world of 1969, filmed in Paris, London, Geneva, New York and Los Angeles, includes Clark performing her worldwide smash hits “I Know a Place” and “My Love.” In addition, she offers enchanting renditions of “This Girl's in Love With You,” “My Funny Valentine,” “When I Was a Child,” “Mademoiselle de Paris” and the beautiful ballad “You and I,” from the motion picture Goodbye, Mr. Chips.
Crooner Andy Williams duets with Clark on the lovely “Visions of Sugar Plums” and the playful “You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Herd” (written by Roger Miller). Williams also sings “Happy Heart,” a hit for both him and Clark. French vocalist Sacha Distel performs “Love is Blue” and joins Clark and Williams for “The Poor People of Paris.” British actor Ron Moody appears as his character Fagin from the film Oliver and teams with Clark for song and dance.
