Three years after the worldwide, critically-acclaimed success of Diva, renowned, French director, Jean-Jacques Beineix followed up with 'Moon in the Gutter' (La Lune dans le Caniveau) starring Gérard Depardieu and Nastassja Kinski.

Adapted from the novel by David Goodis, Moon was an official Cannes selection in 1983 and has never been released before in the US. This film is the fourth title in “The Jean-Jacques Beineix Collection” and will be available on DVD on October 20, 2009.

Gérard (Depardieu) is an emotional wreck following the rape and suicide of his sister. He is obsessed with finding the man who attacked her. After lurking around the streets of Marseilles and desperate to pull himself out of his own misery, he meets amateur photographer, Loretta (Kinski) and begins a relationship. This doesn't sit well with his girlfriend, Bella. Gérard must decide if he wants to be with Loretta or Bella, just as he discovers evidence that may reveal who raped his sister.
