 'Masking The Truth'
Jamie Kennedy, star of the WB Network hidden-camera/sketch comedy series "JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment," is in preliminary negotiations to star in New Line Cinema's 'Son of the Mask', the second installment of 'The Mask' franchise. Larry Guterman is directing the project, which is expected to shoot in the summer while Kennedy is on hiatus from "JKX." The role would mark a coup for Kennedy, who, after playing supporting roles in such films as 'Three Kings,' 'Boiler Room' and 'Bowfinger', is testing his star power by toplining Warner Bros. Pictures' upcoming 'Malibu's Most Wanted', due April 18th.
