The first single since the '80s from Pop Salsa band, Modern Romance, was officially released December 14th, 2018!

It had been approximately 32 years since the last single and “Rhythm Is My Lover” was not only that very same single, but also the title track from their eagerly awaited forthcoming album.

And now their second single "Tarzan Boy 2019" has just been re-released as a Beatport Exclusive on May 27th, 2019 (with an official release date of June 3rd on Sobel Nation Records - distributed by Warner Brothers)!

But wait, even better news is that "Tarzan Boy 2019" has hit Detroit radio and is now on rotation for all the US fans to enjoy!

For those not in the know, Modern Romance released a cover of Baltimora’s “Tarzan Boy” back in 1985.

The single was released on Carrere in France and was distributed by Atlantic Records in the United States.

Formed in 1981, Modern Romance had a string of hits in the '80s with chart favorites such as “Everybody Salsa," "Ay Ay Ay Ay Moosey," “Cherry Pink and Apple Bloom White,” “Best Years Of Our Lives,” "Walking In The Rain," and so many more.

Modern Romance obviously still performs today with the only original member Andy Kyriacou now on vocals and the world-renowned Steve Etherington also part of the group.

FYI: On June 1st, the song which featured mixes by Billboard charting remixers Spin Sista, Joel Dickinson, E39, Joe Gillan, and Jose Jimenez opened at #28 on the North American Dance Charts.
